Accounting is the language to business. Financial accounting identifies, measurer, records, and reports a company's business transactions. Althourg financial accounting is regulated by countries and their respective laws (e.g. the Polish Accounting Act), its essence remains consistent around the world. We have written this students' manual for those who wish to take financial accounting course in English at a bachelor's, master's or postgraduate level. We present fundamentals that graduates of business schools should know. The book consist of eleven chapters, each of which presents a separate topic consisting of two parts: 1) exercises and 2) detailed solutions. We also include a list of abbreviations used in the exercises.
