The monograph consolidates and develops scientific-methodic fundamentals and shapes practical recommendations concerning economic development of the business entities of suburban area. The authors propose their personal interpretation of the concept of "economic development", "suburban area", and makes generalization of the types and functions of suburban area. A considerable attention is paid to the methods of examination of the boundaries of suburban area. The work proposes a methodic approach to measuring of the area of suburban territories and outlines the problems of suburban area development. The monograph improves theoretical fundamentals of the processes of economic development of the business entities of suburban area by calculation of the econometric model and detection of the most favorable conditions for implementation of social-economic reforms and consequently, making of managerial decisions. The developed model served as a base for composing of the proposals concerning the main criteria of impact on the economic development of the business subjects of suburban area. The work gives practical recommendations concerning priority directions of the economic development of suburban area in the social-economic space in the context of stimulation of the cooperation between two or more territorial communities, represented by the bodies of local authorities.
