The publication highlights the need for interaction and exchange between citizens and the administration. The authors rightly point to the problems of social participation in the activities initiated by the local administration. Likewise, they do not fail to discuss the collaboration between the local and central administration, both at the regional and municipal level.
Noteworthy is also the comparative analysis of domestic legal systems. It allows an objective assessment of the activities undertaken in Poland, especially that, according to the discussed material, the neighbouring countries have implemented parallel solutions. Some issues are also investigated by means of the legal and historical method, besides the valuable interdisciplinary approach to the discussion.
